About

The Thunderbirds, hosts of the WM Phoenix Open, have supported the Phoenix Community since their founding in 1937.

Created as a special events committee of the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, the organization grew from five young executives to 55 active members—a structure that continues today—while expanding its impact through charitable and community-focused efforts.
